Mantra DAVOS XL 8610 white outdoor LED wall light 20 W 2700 K

The Mantra DAVOS XL 8610 is a white outdoor wall light with an aluminium body and a square front. Light emerges above and below the housing, drawing two directional accents on the wall rather than illuminating the front panel itself. This 8610 version combines that geometric shape with warm 2700 K light and integrated LED modules totalling 20 W.

A 15 cm square with visible depth

The housing measures 15 cm high, 15 cm wide and 10 cm deep. When choosing its position, compare both the front dimensions and the projection from the wall with the clearance needed by doors, shutters and other moving elements. Once mounted, the fitting remains a three-dimensional box, not a flat panel sitting against the facade.

The manufacturer identifies the white finish as RAL 9010. Plain surfaces and the absence of decorative arms give the fitting a modern, minimalist character. After dark, its appearance also depends on the light pattern on the surface above and below the housing, so the wall itself becomes part of the composition.

Integrated warm LEDs and TRIAC dimming

Two 10 W modules form part of the fitting; it does not require separately chosen screw-base bulbs. Mantra specifies 1830 lm for the complete luminaire and, separately, 1850 lm for the light source. These are different measurements, not two outputs to be added together. The 2700 K colour temperature provides a warm-white appearance.

Brightness control uses TRIAC dimming. Before connecting the light to a dimmed circuit, check that the chosen dimmer supports this control method. The manufacturer does not describe the source as user-replaceable, so this is not the same maintenance arrangement as a fitting with a removable bulb.

Positioning on an outdoor wall

The product page and installation instructions covering reference 8610 both confirm IP65 protection. Wall mounting makes the light suitable for a facade, terrace wall, balcony or masonry boundary wall. Its lighting effect is tied to a vertical surface; do not assume that the pattern shown on the wall means uniform illumination across an entire driveway.

The fitting operates on 220–240 V and is protection class I, requiring a protective earth connection. Check the available wiring and space for the projecting housing before selecting the mounting position.
