Mantra MERIBEL 6492 is an outdoor wall light with a tall rectangular body, a graphite aluminium frame and transparent glass panels. Two bulbs sit opposite one another above and below the central housing. Both remain visible and therefore form part of the fitting’s appearance.
Dimensions and space on the wall
The fitting is 40 cm high, 14 cm wide and projects 16 cm from the wall. Compare the height with the clear area available on the façade, and the 16 cm projection with the space beside a door, passage or opening shutter.
Net weight is 3.2 kg. The instruction shows vertical installation on a wall bracket, with a mounting area measuring 110 × 90 mm. Fixings and anchors should be selected to suit the wall material, and the presence of a protective-earth conductor should be checked before installation.
Which light sources are required
The wall light takes two replaceable E27 bulbs in an A60 shape, each rated at no more than 15 W. Bulbs are not supplied, so their colour, brightness and visual style are selected separately. The clear glazing leaves them fully visible, which means bulb shape affects the finished look even when the light is switched off.
The manufacturer identifies this version as non-dimmable. It provides two light points in one fitting, powered together and intended to operate without brightness control.
Outdoor protection and construction
An IP54 rating provides protection against dust in quantities that could disrupt operation and against splashing water from different directions. Graphite aluminium forms the structure, while the glass encloses the sources without hiding their shape.
Class I construction requires a protective-earth connection, so the electrical work should be completed by a qualified installer. The manufacturer provides a three-year warranty.
