Mantra RUKA 6770 outdoor wall light, dark grey with wood-effect panel, LED 13 W, 3000 K, IP65

RUKA 6770 is an outdoor LED wall light shaped as a rectangular block: a dark grey aluminium frame with a projecting top canopy that hides an opal diffuser, and a front panel with a wood-effect finish. Light leaves only from the underside, so the fitting lights the wall below it and the ground in front, not the sky.

Size and wall mounting

The fitting is 18.2 cm wide, 11.4 cm high and projects 13.2 cm from the wall. Compare those figures with the space beside your front door or on a terrace wall – it needs no large clear area and does not cover façade details. Net weight is 1.28 kg.

It is fixed to the wall through a mounting plate screwed in place, and the cables connect to a terminal block with L, N and protective earth. The fitting is protection class I, so an earth conductor must be available in the junction box. It connects directly to the 100–240 V mains.

How much light, and what kind

The light source is a built-in 13 W LED module included in the box – there is no bulb to buy. It delivers 980 lm, slightly more than an old 60 W incandescent bulb, at 3000 K: a warm white that does not dazzle at the entrance and sits well on render, timber and stone. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 keeps the colours of the façade and plants recognisable after dark.

The fitting is not dimmable. Mantra rates the LED module at 30,000 hours – at five hours a night that is more than 16 years. The light source's energy efficiency class is F.

Where it fits

IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the light can hang on an exposed wall with no canopy above it. It suits the façade by the entrance, terrace and balcony walls, garden walls and fences, and lighting the garden close to the house. The style is modern: a plain geometric body in which the warm wood-effect front meets a graphite frame.

The RUKA series from Mantra also includes bollards and wall-top lights in the same finish, plus a wall light with a motion sensor (6774). Model 6770 has no motion sensor.
