MATRIX METAL 80 is a square coffee table built from thin steel sections in black RAL 9005. Two levels sit inside the open frame: an upper top of 2 mm sheet and a lower shelf of steel mesh. Neither fills the frame completely — both are deliberately offset from its outline.
How big it is and where it goes
The top measures 80 × 80 cm and the table stands 45 cm high. That is close to the seat height of a typical sofa, so the top lands at about knee height for someone sitting down — you reach a mug from the sofa without leaning forward.
When placing it, add the walkway: 80 cm of side plus around 80 cm to walk past comes to 160 cm in one direction. The frame is open, with no solid sides and no plinth, so the table does not hide the floor and leaves 45 cm of clearance underneath — as much room as a vacuum-cleaner head needs.
Two levels and what fits on them
The upper top is solid sheet, so mugs, books or a laptop stand on it. The lower shelf is steel mesh: it suits magazines, remote controls or a basket, but anything smaller than the mesh openings, crumbs included, will fall through.
The two levels are offset from one another rather than stacked exactly, so the lower shelf is reached from above without pulling anything out from under the top.
What it is made of
The whole table is metal — frame, top and shelf alike. The colour is black RAL 9005, the same on the frame and on both levels, with no wood and no upholstery. It is made in Poland.
MATRIX is a collection that also holds a smaller 50 cm coffee table, a 100 × 60 cm version, a tall 30 × 30 × 60 cm side table and a console — all built from the same sections, so they can be put together as a set.
