FORM C0216 is a miniature ceiling fitting from the Polish brand Max Light — a black metal cylinder 8 cm in both diameter and height, taking a single GU10 lamp. The manufacturer calls the series a technical fitting for special tasks, and that is an accurate description.

IP65 — the specification that matters here

IP65 means complete dust protection and resistance to water jets from any direction. In practice Max Light names two applications an ordinary ceiling fitting cannot serve:

• above a shower cubicle — in the zone directly exposed to spray and steam;
• outdoors — under a terrace roof, in a porch or a covered walkway.

That extends its use far beyond a hallway or bathroom: the same fitting can run through a whole house, inside and out, keeping one consistent look.

Eight centimetres

Ø 8 cm and 8 cm tall really is small — the fitting is the size of a drinking glass. At that scale a ceiling light stops being a decorative object and becomes a light point: it throws light without drawing attention. Max Light says as much — as a discreet light source it blends into the space surprisingly well.

The practical consequence: several of these in a row replace one large fitting, giving better control over where the light falls in a narrow corridor or over a worktop.

GU10 up to 50 W — full freedom of choice

The fitting takes one GU10 lamp of up to 50 W and does not include a bulb. The 50 W limit is set for halogens; with LED you will typically choose 5–8 W and get 400–700 lm.

GU10 gives freedom an integrated-LED fitting cannot: you decide the colour (2700 K for a bathroom or terrace, 4000 K over a worktop), the beam angle (36° for accent, 60° for even light) and the dimming. The fitting itself does not support a dimmer — Max Light states this plainly — so brightness control depends entirely on the lamp and the dimmer in the wiring.

The FORM family

The same body comes in three finishes: C0216 black (this product), C0215 white and C0217 gold. All share identical technical parameters, so two colours can be combined in one room, or the fitting matched to the ceiling colour.

Things to bear in mind

IP65 applies to the fitting, not to the lamp. If you install it above a shower or outdoors, the GU10 lamp should also be rated for damp conditions — an ordinary indoor LED will not last as long in that position.

The fitting is surface-mounted: it fixes to the face of the ceiling, not into a cut-out, so it needs no space above the ceiling. That makes it the answer for concrete slabs and anywhere a recessed fitting is out of the question.
