Organic P0459 is a slim tube 2.5 cm across and 45 cm long in brushed gold, hanging on a thin cable below a round ceiling rose 10 cm across. It lights from the lower end, where an acrylic diffusing element sits.
How it hangs and how much room it takes
The maximum drop is 190 cm and the cable is shortened at the rose, so the fitting suits an ordinary ceiling and a tall room alike. The tube itself accounts for 45 cm of that - the rest is cable, on which the lamp is all but invisible.
The rose is 10 cm across and covers an ordinary installation box. At 2.5 cm wide the fitting hides nothing, so several can hang close together in a row over a worktop, or at different heights beside each other.
How much light it gives
The manufacturer gives 60 lm at 1 W. That is very little: an old 60 W bulb produced around 800 lm, so a single Organic is a light accent rather than lighting for a room. Covering a worktop or a table takes several of them side by side, and a separate main light is still worth planning for.
The colour temperature is 3000 K, warm white and close to a traditional bulb. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means colours under this light look almost as they do in daylight - which counts where the lamp hangs over a work surface or beside a mirror.
Light source and control
The LED is permanently built in and supplied with the fitting, so no bulb has to be bought, but it cannot be replaced either - when the module is spent the whole lamp is replaced. The manufacturer states outright that the fitting cannot be put on a dimmer, and with an integrated module no choice of lamp changes that.
The fitting runs on 230 V and carries energy class G. The body is stainless steel and the light element acrylic. The Organic family offers the same tubes in copper, chrome, black and white, and as ceiling and wall lights, so several rooms can be matched to each other.
