Maytoni Quadra O143FL-L15BK LED garden bollard, black, 60 cm, 3000 K, IP65 Autumn Selection -30%

Maytoni Quadra O143FL-L15BK is a black LED garden bollard with an aluminium housing. A clear band separates its square body from the angular top, allowing light to emerge around the fitting. This is the 60 cm version, not a tall garden lantern or the wood-effect finish shown alongside it in some family imagery.

Allowing room beside a path

The housing measures 10 cm across in both directions. Compare that footprint with the intended border and the height of nearby planting. Its light-emitting section sits near the top of a relatively low bollard, so the surroundings matter when deciding where it should go. Keep the fitting outside the walking or driving route rather than placing it in the middle of a passage.

This form of lighting can be used beside garden and park paths, terrace edges or driveways. The manufacturer specifies IP65, indicating a dust-tight enclosure with protection against water jets. That rating does not establish suitability for immersion; this bollard is not a substitute for an underwater light.

Warm white light around the fitting

The integrated LED source is rated at 15 W and 3000 K. Warm white is therefore part of this particular version, rather than a colour selected by buying a separate bulb. Maytoni states a luminous flux of 975 lm and a 360° beam angle. Light is emitted around the bollard instead of being concentrated into a narrow directional accent.

A CRI of 90 describes the rendering of colours on illuminated surfaces. This model is not dimmable, an important distinction if the installation requires adjustable brightness. The stated light output alone does not determine spacing between fittings: the path layout and required illumination must also be considered.

Angular styling and mains power

Flat surfaces and the absence of ornament suit modern and minimalist garden layouts. The black body contrasts with the bright band beneath the top. Quadra requires AC 220–240 V mains power, so it is not a solar lamp. Its Class I construction requires a protective earth connection. Maytoni specifies a five-year warranty for this article.
