The MEMO METAL 100 console is a narrow wall table built from welded thin metal profiles of square section, in matte grey. The top is a flat metal sheet with a thin edge, and a diagonal brace forming a cross ties the side of the frame together. The piece belongs to the metal line of the MEMO collection.
How much room it takes and where it stands
The console measures 100 cm long and only 30 cm deep, so it stands out from the wall noticeably less than a chest of drawers — compare that depth with the width of the hallway where you still need to walk comfortably past the piece. The top at 75 cm matches the height of a dining table, the level at which you stand rather than sit.
The frame is open and you can see straight through it: there is no back panel and no plinth between the legs, so the floor stays visible along the whole length of the piece and the wall is not covered up.
What you can put on it
The 100 × 30 cm top is the only usable surface — the structure has no shelf, no drawer and no closed compartment. Everything meant to sit on the console therefore sits on top of it and stays in view.
The 30 cm depth sets the limit of what fits: measure it against the base of the lamp, vase or box you intend to stand there, because deeper objects will no longer be supported at the back.
Construction and finish
The whole structure is metal and welded — legs, top frame and the diagonal brace are the same thin profiles, joined with no visible connectors or screws. The surface is matte, in a single shade of grey, without gloss and without a perceptible texture.
The form is industrial and minimalist: the drawing of the structure is what does the work, with no veneer, ornament or fronts. The console repeats the build of the other pieces in the MEMO metal line, which also includes coffee tables and a side table, so several pieces from the same family can be combined in one room.
