Modena 303 White 9003 Norlys garden/park lantern

MODENA 303 is a complete garden and park lantern in white RAL 9003. Three hexagonal lanterns with clear covers sit on curved arms around the top of a powder-coated cast aluminium pole.

How tall it stands and how it is fixed

The pole is telescopic — the height is set anywhere between 1840 and 2720 mm, so the same model can sit lower beside a path and higher by a driveway. The base is 550 mm across; that is the figure to compare with the space left at the edge of a lawn or in the strip beside a terrace.

The luminaire bolts down through three ø10,5 mm holes spaced every 120° on a ø240 mm circle. The connection terminal takes conductors of up to 4x2,5 mm² and allows several lanterns to be looped through in one run; the round cable may measure ø7 to ø12,5 mm over the insulation.

What the set contains and what has to be bought separately

The set comes in three parts: the luminaire (art. 3020), the terminal (art. 3040) and the lighting pole (art. 3010). The foundation is not among them — the concreting anchor (art. 305), the ground anchor (art. 306), the concrete foundation (art. 7668) and the foundation adapter (art. 108) are sold separately, so how the pole is anchored has to be decided along with the lantern itself.

Light sources are not included either. Each of the three lanterns has its own E27 socket and takes a bulb of A55–A60 shape; changing it is the end user's job and needs no service call. Three bulbs are therefore bought at once, and their choice settles the colour of the light: around 2700 K gives warm light, 4000 K neutral white.

How it handles weather

An IP54 rating means a luminaire protected against dust and against water splashed from any direction — one built to stand in the open with no roof over it. The manufacturer gives an operating range of -20 to +45 °C.

The body is powder-coated cast aluminium and the covers are UV-stabilised polycarbonate; that stabilisation is what makes the plastic yellow and cloud over in the sun more slowly than untreated material. The lantern runs on 220–240 V mains.
