Molde DC1905AL is a Norlys garden bollard 50 cm tall, with a body cast from powder-painted aluminium in a silver-grey finish and a gently curved head concealing a clear, structured polycarbonate lens. Light comes out beneath the bent cap and falls downward, not upward.
How big it is and how it mounts
The body measures 50 × 16.5 × 11 cm and weighs 1.48 kg — a size worth comparing with the spacing planned for a row of these bollards along a path or driveway. The base has four ø7 mm mounting holes spaced 18 × 50 mm; a concreting anchor, a ground anchor and mounting adapters are sold separately by the manufacturer.
How it's powered and how much light it gives
The LED module runs on low-voltage DC24V and needs an external, voltage-stabilised power supply — the bollard is not wired directly into 230V mains, and the power supply is not included. That's why the fixture carries protection class III, meaning it does not need earthing.
It shines at 2700K, a warm white close to a traditional bulb, with a luminaire luminous flux of 435 lm and a colour rendering index of Ra 80. The bent head shields the source from above, so light spreads downward along the ground and less than 3% escapes upward — useful where limiting light spill matters. The diodes cannot be swapped by the user; the LED module is replaceable only by a qualified technician.
Where it's meant to be used
The manufacturer designed Molde for lighting private outdoor areas — paths, driveways, entrances and terraces — and for rhythmically marking walkways. Its IP54 rating protects it against rain and dust, so the bollard can stay outdoors year-round.
Build
The body is powder-painted cast aluminium, and the lens is clear, structured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The bollard belongs to Norlys' Scandinavian Molde collection and has a plain, geometric shape without extra ornamentation.
