Nordlux Rica Round 2118141003 is a cordless solar wall light for an entrance, driveway, path or fence. Its circular solar panel forms the top of the black fitting and light is directed downwards. Solar charging with PIR detection

During the day the panel charges a 3.7V 18650 lithium-ion battery, so no mains cable or socket is required. After dark, the motion detector operates at up to 8m and activates light in busy areas. A USB cable is not supplied. Performance varies with sunshine, season, shade and panel cleanliness, so the mounting position should receive as much unobstructed daylight as practical.

Integrated 4.5W LED output

The non-replaceable Solar LED module actually consumes 4.5W and provides 480lm at a warm 3000K. CRI 80 gives standard colour rendering, and rated life is 30,000 hours. The source is part of the fitting and does not use a replaceable lampholder. Rica cannot be dimmed; its light is controlled by ambient conditions and the movement sensor.

The fitting measures 15cm wide, 12cm high and projects 18.2cm, while the round section is 15cm in diameter. Its black body is plastic and net weight is 0.435kg. IP44 protects against splashes, although the manufacturer does not recommend this version for aggressive coastal conditions. Class III denotes low-voltage battery operation.
