The NORLYS 7665GR reducer is a steel adapter piece that lets a slip-over post-top luminaire designed for a Ø60 mm pole sit on a pole with a diameter of Ø76 mm. At the top it has a Ø60 mm spigot that the luminaire slides onto, and at the bottom a wider sleeve that fits over the pole. The steel is electro-galvanised and powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016 – the zinc under the coating protects it from corrosion, so the reducer can stay outdoors together with the luminaire and the pole.
Which luminaires and poles it fits
Norlys specifies the reducer for the Nice post-top luminaires 777, 5001, 5088 and 5089 and for the telescopic Lamppost 3005 pole. The luminaire has to be designed for a Ø60 mm pole and the pole has to be Ø76 mm, so check both diameters on the luminaire's and the pole's data sheets before ordering.
The luminaires and the pole are sold separately, and the reducer comes with its installation instructions. The RAL number helps with matching colours: the graphite version of the Lamppost 3005 pole has the same RAL 7016 shade.
Dimensions and installation
The reducer is 180 mm high and 8.9 cm in diameter at its widest point, the sleeve that goes over the pole. The drawing in the instructions shows two M6 screws in the sleeve that fix the reducer to the pole. The luminaire is then slid onto the top spigot and fixed according to its own instructions.
