NORLYS ART.130 130BL black RAL 9005 corner bracket for Mandal Down

The NORLYS ART.130 corner bracket in index 130BL is a steel angle for fixing Mandal Down luminaires on a wall edge. Finish 130BL is black RAL 9005: the steel is electro-galvanized and powder-coated. It is not a luminaire — the bracket does not emit light and does not replace the fitting.

Compatibility with Mandal Down

The current NORLYS datasheet assigns this corner piece to Mandal Down luminaires 1373 and 1374. Those luminaires are sold separately, so the carton contains only the bracket. Do not treat it as a universal support for other families until the manufacturer confirms another pairing.

Before buying, compare the back plate of the chosen Mandal Down fitting with the bracket drawing: the arms wrap the wall corner, and the cut-out and holes take the fitting through and screw it on. If your luminaire has a different fixing pitch from 1373/1374, this index is the wrong accessory.

Size and installation

The part itself is 12 × 9.5 × 7 cm. Measure the façade or post corner and leave room for both arms and for the thickness of the luminaire that will be clamped against the bracket. The carton is 13 × 13 × 8 cm — that is the packing size for delivery, not the working size after installation.

Fit the bracket according to the enclosed NORLYS instructions. The card does not state hole centres or load rating, and the only drawing is a schematic, so those values must not be read from a thumbnail. The manufacturer states an ambient range of −20 to +45 °C.

Material and intended use

Black RAL 9005 distinguishes 130BL from the hot-dip galvanized 130GA variant. The electro-zinc layer and powder coat protect the steel in the outdoor conditions intended for Mandal fittings, but the card does not give an IP rating for the bracket itself. CE marking is confirmed; net and gross weight in the NORLYS modal are 0.00 kg, so they cannot be quoted as a fact.
