NORLYS Asker 1337GR graphite LED bollard 9.7 W 636 lm 4000 K PIR IP65

NORLYS Asker 1337GR is a 55 cm graphite bollard for lighting routes, driveways and the area around a building. Its integrated LED system draws 9.7 W and the complete fitting delivers 636 lm of neutral 4000 K light. A built-in PIR detector switches the light in response to movement.

Downward-directed illumination

The 20 cm wide head shields the source from above and directs a diffuse hemispherical distribution towards the ground. This geometry limits upward emission: NORLYS specifies ULOR 0% and a B0-U1-G0 BUG rating. An output of 636 lm at 65.6 lm/W can identify a path edge or driveway without exposing a glaring LED point. CRI 80 and a 4000 K colour temperature provide neutral visibility of surfaces and obstacles.

PIR detection after dusk

The head contains an ESYLUX MD-C 360I/6 mini PIR motion detector with a twilight switch and hold-time function. Factory programming uses maximum detection range, a one-minute lighting period and a 10 lux dusk threshold. The bollard can therefore provide light when somebody approaches after dark instead of remaining continuously on. Alternative sensor programming is listed by the manufacturer as an optional agreed variant, not as unrestricted adjustment included with the standard product.

Graphite RAL 7016 and IP65 construction

The 1337GR suffix identifies graphite RAL 7016; black is the separate 1337BL variant. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium. A transparent structured polycarbonate lens is UV stabilised, while a silicone gasket and EPDM cable gland support the outdoor enclosure. IP65 protects against dust and water jets. The AC LED module is integrated and can be replaced only by professional service, so this is not a bulb-based fitting and has no lamp socket.

Dimensions, base and installation

The bollard measures 55 cm high, 20 cm wide and 11 cm deep. Its base is fixed through four Ø8 mm holes spaced 18 × 50 mm. NORLYS lists ground and concrete anchors plus mounting adapters as separately purchased accessories, so the foundation method should be selected before cabling is completed. Terminals accept conductors up to 3 × 4 mm² and permit loop-through connection. A qualified installer should provide the 230 V connection, suitable outdoor cable entry and stable anchoring.
