NORLYS Hellvik 2407AL aluminium LED bollard 55 cm DALI2 4000 K

The NORLYS Hellvik 2407AL is a 55 cm outdoor bollard with a geometric frame made from powder-coated cast aluminium. The AL suffix identifies the RAL 9006 aluminium finish. Its transparent, textured polycarbonate lens is UV stabilised, while the diffused light is shielded from above.

Dimensions and installation

The fitting is 42 cm long, 11 cm wide and 55 cm high, with a net weight of 7.9 kg. A concrete anchor is included; the manufacturer sells other mounting accessories separately. The terminal accepts conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allows loop-through wiring with round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter.

The 42 × 11 cm footprint can be compared with the width of the path or border where the bollard will stand. Installation and electrical connection should be completed by an electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions.

Light output and DALI2 control

The included LED module is rated at 9.9 W; the complete luminaire uses 11.9 W and delivers 1549 lm. A colour temperature of 4000 K produces neutral white light, while CRI 70 represents a basic level of colour rendering. The output is diffused and shielded from above, and the 3% ULOR indicates that only a small share of light is emitted above the fitting.

Brightness is controlled through DALI2. This requires a DALI installation and controller, so an ordinary phase dimmer is not a substitute. The LED module and driver are included and may only be replaced by a qualified professional. The module is rated L90B10 for more than 100,000 hours, while the driver is rated for 50,000 hours.

Outdoor protection

IP65 denotes a dust-tight enclosure protected against water jets, while IK08 describes mechanical impact resistance. The operating temperature range is -20 to +45°C. The class I luminaire operates at 220–240 V and therefore requires a protective-earth connection.
