Norlys Lillehammer 2260BL LED Outdoor Wall Light, Black, 7.6 W 2700 K, Up and Down Light, DALI-2, IP65

The Lillehammer 2260BL is a block-shaped outdoor wall light in black powder-coated cast aluminium (RAL 9005). It is 18.5 cm tall and 8 cm wide, and projects 11 cm from the wall. Light leaves through clear safety glass at both ends of the fitting: a narrow 4° beam on one side and a wide 60° beam on the other.

How it lights, and how much

That pairing of beams makes this a fitting for drawing with light on a wall: the narrow beam traces a thin, sharp line up or down the facade, while the wide one washes a larger area of the wall. It can be mounted either way round — narrow beam up or narrow beam down. The manufacturer gives a 20/80% split of the flux between the two sides.

The integrated LED module is rated at 1008 lm, but 234 lm leaves the fitting at 7.6 W — that second figure is the one that tells you how much light reaches the wall. 2700 K is a warm, slightly yellowish light, and Ra 80 is the usual level for outdoor lighting. There is no bulb to buy; the LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer offers a service kit for this.

Control and wiring

The driver is included and supports DALI-2 control, so the light can join a DALI installation and be dimmed from it. It fixes through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm and weighs 1.6 kg.

The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 1.5 mm² and allow looping through to the next fitting (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), so a row of these along a facade can run from one cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. With an inrush current of 6.7 A / 2.4 µs, the manufacturer states that a B 10 A breaker takes 46 of these fittings, B 16 A 74, C 10 A 74 and C 16 A 119. The light is protection class I and needs an earth conductor; it should be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it fits

Norlys intends the Lillehammer for lighting walls and facades. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the light can hang on an exposed wall without a canopy, and the IK08 impact rating guards it against an accidental knock.
