Lillehammer 2291CS is an outdoor LED wall light shaped as a rectangular box 18.5 cm high and 8 cm wide, projecting 11 cm from the wall. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated in a corten-steel colour, a rusty brown. The light leaves through panes of optical safety glass in the top and bottom faces.
How it lights
The luminaire shines up and down at the same time, each way in a 60° beam. Two strips of light form on the wall above and below the fitting, which is why the manufacturer intends it for lighting wall surfaces and facades rather than the ground. ULOR 50% follows directly from that design: half of the flux goes upwards.
The wall light draws 7.27 W and delivers 216 lm. It is an accent luminaire — several in a row along a facade draw a regular pattern on the wall, but they will not replace lighting for an entrance or a path. At 2700 K the light is a warm, slightly yellowish white, CRI 80 renders plaster and brick colours accurately, and SDCM3 keeps successive fittings in the same shade.
Dimming, power supply and service
The luminaire is phase-dimmable, but only with trailing-edge (TE) control, so an RC-type dimmer is needed. The LED modules and the driver are replaced by a professional service; the manufacturer offers the ZS2291 service kit and rates the driver at 50,000 h.
The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and further wall lights can be looped through (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), which simplifies the wiring for a row of fittings on one facade. The EPDM gland accepts a cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. Protection class I requires an earth connection.
Installation and durability
The wall light is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes, following the supplied instructions; it weighs 1.66 kg. IP65 means a dust-tight luminaire resistant to water jets, and IK08 resistance to impact. The plain, unornamented body is a modern, minimalist form; in our catalogue it is listed for facades and gardens.
