NORLYS Lillehammer DC2291GB outdoor wall light, beige grey

The NORLYS Lillehammer DC2291GB is an outdoor wall light with a plain rectangular body in beige grey RAL 7006. Its housing is powder-coated cast aluminium, with optical safety glass protecting the light openings. This is the 24 V DC version: it must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply.

Light above and below the fitting

Two LED modules direct light upwards and downwards, with a 60° beam in each direction. The fitting therefore accents the wall on both sides rather than producing a single downward pool of light. When positioning it, allow for both beams and consider nearby façade edges, canopies and other architectural features.

The 2700 K colour temperature gives warm white light. The fitting consumes 7.2 W and has a luminaire output of 219 lm. This is the output of the complete wall light, not the separate LED source figure of 1024 lm. Use the luminaire figure when comparing finished fittings, so that the two different measurements are not mistaken for equivalent brightness ratings.

Plan the external power supply

An external constant-voltage 24 V DC power supply is required. The LED modules support dimming, while the external control arrangement must be specified as part of the installation design. This is not a fitting for an ordinary replaceable bulb. The manufacturer specifies professional servicing for replacement of the LED light sources; installation and electrical work also require an appropriately qualified person.

A compact geometric wall feature

The body measures 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. Its smooth front and clearly defined edges suit modern, minimalist façades. Beige grey is a distinct finish within the range, not another name for the graphite or black versions. A wall beside a terrace or balcony is also a suitable setting where an upward and downward architectural accent is wanted.

The IP65 rating supports outdoor use. Fixing is through two 5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm apart. The installation instructions specify a round cable with a diameter of 7–10.5 mm and correct passage through the gasket. Following that cable-entry procedure matters for maintaining the fitting's protection, as well as selecting an appropriate mounting position.
