The NORLYS Nora 2468CS is a flat, square outdoor wall light measuring 13 × 13 cm that projects only 5 cm from the wall. The cast aluminium body is powder-coated in a corten steel colour (close to RAL 8011), and the top and bottom edges are closed by satin safety glass.
What light it gives
Two integrated LED modules draw 10.3 W together, and the luminaire delivers 455 lm at 2700 K, a warm, slightly yellow white. Light goes in two directions, up and down, and the satin glass diffuses it, so soft washes appear on the wall above and below the fitting. Half of the flux goes upwards (ULOR 50%). The colour rendering index is Ra 80.
Control and connection
Norlys specifies light control in the DALI2/TD system, so the fitting can be dimmed and integrated into an installation controlled over a DALI bus. It is protection class I and must be connected to a protective earth.
The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping through to the next fitting (up to 5 × 1.5 mm²), and the gland takes round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter, so a row of these lights along a facade can be fed from one supply line. Norlys also gives the inrush-current limits for planning the circuit: 46 luminaires on one B10 breaker, 74 on a B16, 74 on a C10 and 119 on a C16.
Mounting and use
The wall light is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm. It weighs 0.85 kg. IP65 sealing and IK09 impact resistance allow it to be mounted on an uncovered facade, by an entrance, on a terrace or along a garden wall. Norlys designed the series for lighting walls, facades and architectural details.
