Norlys Sandvik 5152AL outdoor wall light aluminium RAL 9006 LED 16 W

The Norlys Sandvik 5152AL is an outdoor wall luminaire in die-cast aluminium, powder-coated aluminium RAL 9006. The rectangular body has two safety-glass openings: one facing up, one facing down. Index 5152AL0009 and EAN 7042890515298 identify this finish only; black RAL 9005, graphite RAL 7016 and white RAL 9003 are separate catalogue items.

Size and wall fixing

Height is 21 cm, width 8 cm and projection from the wall 11 cm. On a facade it occupies a narrow vertical strip, closer to a brick on end than to a wide dish-shaped sconce. Two fixing holes are 4.5 mm across, spaced 37 × 97.5 mm — transfer that rectangle to the wall before drilling. Net weight 1.47 kg, gross 1.58 kg; carton 23 × 12.5 × 9 cm.

Terminals accept cable up to 3×2.5 mm², looping through up to 3×1.5 mm². The EPDM gland needs a round sheath Ø 7–10.5 mm; a different cable diameter weakens the seal. Corner bracket 148XX0009 is sold separately and is not in the box.

Light up and down

Two integrated AC LED modules of 8 W each total 16 W. Source flux is 1604 lm, luminaire flux 1350 lm at 84.4 lm/W — two narrow beams, not even ceiling light. A 36° beam up and down paints two stripes on the wall instead of flooding a terrace. 4000 K (neutral), CRI 80, SDCM3. The user does not swap the module: the sheet allows LED replacement only by professional service, with no E27 holder.

The luminaire is phase-dimmable, trailing edge and leading edge. No dimmer is included; choose a compatible phase dimmer. Contained sources carry energy class E with an EPREL reference. Power factor PF>0.98, THD below 20%.

Outdoor use and form

IP65, IK08 and class I (earth required) suit a facade, terrace, balcony, gazebo and the zone above a door. The Norlys pictogram limits use to outdoor applications — this is not a bathroom or corridor sconce. Ambient operating range is −20…+45 °C. Condensation in outdoor luminaires can occur naturally and, per the sheet, is not a defect.

The smooth, boxy volume without a globe shade or ornament is closer to a modern, minimal facade detail than to a decorative lantern. The glass is clear, so the module edge is visible rather than a milky glow. The sheet names private grounds and public zones, not indoor dining rooms.
