Nova Nook's ESILLA is a white dining table made from painted MDF. Its elongated top has rounded corners and rests on two broad legs with vertical fluting. The smooth tabletop contrasts with the repeated grooves on the supports, giving the table a modern appearance without introducing a second finish.
Allowing room for chairs
The top occupies 180 Γ 90 cm, and the table stands 76 cm high. When positioning it in a dining room, kitchen or living-room dining area, allow space beyond the tabletop for pulling chairs out and walking past them. Checking the tabletop footprint alone will not establish whether the whole dining arrangement fits.
The manufacturer's drawing shows 110 cm between the legs and 72.4 cm from the floor to the underside of the top. Compare these measurements with the width of your chosen chairs and the height of their armrests. The broad supports also affect seating positions, so tabletop length alone does not determine how many chairs can be accommodated.
Protecting the painted surface
The manufacturer requires protective coasters or placemats. Wet or hot dishes must not touch the tabletop directly. Plan protection for individual place settings as well as dishes placed in the centre of the table, rather than leaving serving dishes in direct contact with the white surface.
