TEXAS is a 60 cm bollard light: a slim rectangular aluminium column in anthracite, finished at the top with a short arm that cantilevers to one side. The built-in LED module sits under that arm and points downwards. The surface is matt powder-coated and the column stands on a flat square base plate.
How tall it is and how much room it needs
The column measures 60 cm and the manufacturer provides no height adjustment — a height chosen so the light lands on the surface rather than in the eyes of anyone walking past.
The base plate is a 9.6 × 9.6 cm square, while the cantilevered arm brings the overall width to 15 cm. Both figures are worth comparing with the width of your path edging or border: the foot needs under 10 cm, but the arm reaches beyond it.
How much light it gives and of what kind
The LED module draws 7 W and delivers 420 lm at 3000 K, warm white. That is about half the output of an old 60 W bulb, but all of it goes downwards in a 120° cone, so it lights a band of surface around the bollard rather than the surroundings.
The light source is included and integrated: there is no socket and no bulb to change, and the manufacturer rates its life at 15,000 hours. The luminaire cannot be dimmed and is operated by an ordinary light switch — a dimmer changes nothing here.
Supply and outdoor operation
The IP54 rating means protection against dust and against water splashed from any direction, so the bollard works in the open with no shelter over it. It runs on 230 V from fixed wiring, and the driver is supplied with it.
The luminaire is electrical class I, which means a protective earth conductor has to be connected — live and neutral alone are not enough.
Construction and spare parts
Column and base plate are aluminium with a matt powder coating in anthracite. The form comes down to two rectangular bodies set at a right angle, with no ornament and no visible screws.
The TEXAS range also holds the same bollard in a 40 cm version, article 28851/40/30. The manufacturer lists separate service parts for it — the glass and the driver — so damage to either one does not write off the whole luminaire.
