SLV SLOTBOX 40 is a low, floor-standing outdoor luminaire, 40 cm high and intended for installation at ground level. Its anthracite aluminium housing has a clean vertical form with a narrow light opening. The integrated LED module produces indirect light, so this version does not take a separately selected replacement bulb.
Light and power
Variant 232135 has an 8 W LED source with 160 lm output and a 3000 K colour temperature. Its built-in LED driver connects directly to the mains supply. SLV specifies a 35,000-hour service life, no CCT switch and no DALI capability. When the integrated source reaches the end of its life, it is not replaced like a standard lamp.
Dimensions and fitting
The luminaire measures 7 cm long, 12 cm wide and 40 cm high; compare these dimensions with the intended position beside a route before ordering. Net weight is 1.576 kg. A set of concrete anchors for secure fixing is supplied. The manufacturer specifies IP44 protection and IK04 impact resistance for this outdoor model.
Form and placement
Straight lines and anthracite aluminium give SLOTBOX 40 a modern, minimalist appearance. Its indirect light can discreetly mark the edge of a path or an entrance area, rather than claiming to illuminate a large area completely. It can be paired with other exterior luminaires in a matching finish for a consistent scheme.
