Zambelis E490 is a rechargeable table lamp for indoor and outdoor use, finished in sandy green. A slender stem joins its flat circular base to a cylindrical shade with vertical grooves. The metal and aluminium construction incorporates a polycarbonate diffuser, while the restrained proportions give it a modern, minimalist appearance.
Check the space available on your table
The lamp stands 26 cm high, with an 8.6 cm shade diameter and an 8.3 cm base diameter. Compare these measurements with the space available beside plates, glasses or other objects before choosing a position. The green finish continues across the shade housing, stem and base, rather than combining contrasting body colours.
The manufacturer specifies supplementary ambient lighting indoors and outdoors. Suitable positions include a terrace or balcony table, a garden seating area, or a side table in a living room, bedroom or dining room. With a stated output of 124 lm, E490 provides additional light near its position rather than replacing general room lighting or a dedicated task lamp. Its IP44 rating protects against splashing water; it does not permit immersion.
Touch controls for colour and brightness
The built-in 2 W LED offers three colour temperatures: 2700 K, 4000 K and 6500 K. A short touch changes the light colour from warm through neutral to cool white. A longer touch adjusts brightness continuously. The instructions confirm brightness memory and a power-off memory function. Because the LED source is integrated, there is no screw-in bulb to choose separately.
Charging time and runtime are different figures
The 1800 mAh battery takes approximately 4 hours to charge. The manufacturer quotes 6 hours of operation at full brightness, 11.5 hours at 50% and 60 hours at 10%. The longest runtime therefore applies to substantially dimmed light, not maximum output.
A USB cable is included. The E099 5 V, 1 A adaptor and the 25280 charging base for three lamps are sold separately. The charging indicator changes from orange to green when charging is complete. Photographs showing several lamps on the shared base illustrate an accessory arrangement, not additional lamps or a base included with this item.
