Outdoor wall lamp NORLYS Nora 2497CG cement grey LED 8W IP65

The NORLYS Nora 2497 outdoor wall luminaire in finish 2497CG is a flat 13 × 13 × 5 cm square wall light in die-cast aluminium powder-coated cement grey RAL 7033. Light leaves only downwards through the safety-glass cover; the top of the body stays dark. The integrated 8 W, 3000 K LED module is included.

Index 2497CG belongs to the Nora 8W Satin family. Cement-grey paint, not a patina, sets it apart from black 2497BL and graphite 2497GR. Net weight 0.85 kg, gross 0.91 kg; carton 16 × 14 × 5.5 cm.

Light and control

The luminaire delivers 306 lm at 38.3 lm/W, CRI 80 and SDCM3. ULOR is 0%, so flux does not go skyward. 3000 K lights a strip of facade under the cube; 306 lm is an accent, not lighting for a whole garden.

The electronic driver works with DALI2/TD. The LED module and control gear are replaceable only by professional service, not by the user. L90 per TM-21 exceeds 52,600 h; the driver 100,000 h. Power factor PF>0.9. Ambient range −20 to +45 °C.

Installation

Two ø5 mm holes at 63 × 112 mm fix the fitting to the wall. Terminals take up to 5×2.5 mm², loop-in up to 5×1.5 mm². Round-sheathed cable 7–10.5 mm. Installation and service by a qualified person. Inrush 6.7 A / 2.4 µs limits how many units share one breaker (46 pcs on B10A, among other ratings).

Materials and placing

The body is painted aluminium die-cast, the cover safety glass, the gasket silicone. IP65 and IK09 describe ingress and impact. Condensation inside the housing is natural. The producer names lighting of walls, facades and other architectural schemes; with IP65 and downward-only light the fitting suits a facade, terrace or balcony as local light on the wall.

The square plan, 5 cm depth and smooth cement-grey coat give a geometric, Scandinavian, minimal body with no forging and no shade outside the outline.
