How the silver-grey MERIDIAN 2 looks when lit

SLV item 230444 is the silver-grey MERIDIAN 2 outdoor luminaire. A curved aluminium oval frames an opal polycarbonate panel. In the packshot the panel reads as a calm, even field; the installed photograph shows a soft wash on the wall along both long sides of the fitting. The body is 38 cm high, 14 cm wide and 14.5 cm deep, so it stands just under 15 cm off the mounting surface.

One E27 holder takes a replaceable lamp of at most 25 W. No lamp is supplied. SLV lists a T38 E27 LED, 8 W, 3000 K, CRI 90 as a recommended example. Wiring goes straight to 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz. Safety class I needs an earth conductor. Net weight is 1.251 kg and gross weight 1.467 kg.

Weather rating and beam

IP54 covers dust and splashing water. Impact class IK03 equals 0.35 J, which is light knocks rather than heavy abuse. Ambient limits are −20 °C to 45 °C. The datasheet states a symmetric distribution and a direct–indirect outlet, matching the oval diffuser.

Where this fitting belongs

Use it on a façade, terrace, balcony, gazebo or above a door. A garage wall or a hotel entrance is equally plausible on a flat surface-mounted substrate. It is not a pool fitting and not a street lantern. Other MERIDIAN wall lights exist in different shells; EAN 4024163105163 identifies only this silver-grey 230444.
