PALINZA pendant lamp, white, 50 cm, E27, Luces Exclusivas LE45317

PALINZA is a pendant lamp from Luces Exclusivas, a Greek brand belonging to Zambelis Lights. The shade recalls a stone bowl or a shell: domed on top, with a wavy, asymmetric rim below, so it looks different from every angle. It is made of polyurethane and resin, finished matt with a fine-grained texture resembling raw stone or plaster.

Large form, low weight

At 50 cm wide and 40 cm deep, PALINZA is a statement rather than an accessory — over a table or a kitchen island it fills the space visually. Using polyurethane instead of real stone means the fitting weighs little for its size and needs no reinforcement of the ceiling, which can be a problem with ceramic or plaster shades of similar dimensions.

Light directed downwards

The shade is opaque and closed at the top, so the entire output leaves through the wavy rim below. The effect is directional: a bright pool on the surface and a clear shadow beyond it. This is a lamp for a table, a counter or an island — not for lighting a whole room. The irregular rim also means the edge of the light is not a neat circle but softly undulating.

E27 socket, you choose the bulb

The shade holds one E27 socket for a source of up to 12 W. No bulb is included — colour and brightness are yours to choose. Because the source is fully concealed, its shape makes no difference; only output and colour temperature matter. Against a warm, matt shade texture like this, a warm-toned source works well.

Suspension and build

The fitting hangs on a white cord with a maximum drop of 250 cm, shortened during installation. Supply is 230 V and the IP20 rating restricts it to dry interiors. The PALINZA family also includes the variants LE45316 and LE45318.
