Sfera 50 – a black dome with a gold-coloured interior

Sigma Sfera 50 in exact variant 30137 combines a clean hemispherical outline with a strong contrast between finishes. The outside is smooth and matte black, while the visibly textured gold-coloured interior adds depth when viewed from below. The shade is made from mineral composite and the structural parts from painted steel. At 50 cm across, it can work as a focused statement above a round dining table, a coffee table or in the centre of a bedroom without reaching the scale of the larger Sfera versions.

Dimensions and suspension

The shade is 50 cm in diameter and 25 cm high. Overall height can be adjusted up to a maximum of 100 cm, allowing its position to be coordinated with the ceiling and the surface below. The round black canopy measures 10 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high, continuing the dark finish of the cable and outer shade. Sigma also offers cable extension to order. Choose the light to suit the setting

One E27 lampholder accepts a replaceable LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W. The bulb is not supplied, leaving the colour temperature and output to be selected for the intended use. The broad open shape directs light mainly downwards, while keeping the irregular gold-coloured texture visible as part of the design.
