FINN OB2211CL01-BL is a round metal recessed spotlight finished in black. It is the bare frame with a GU10 socket — no housing can, no shade and no driver. The ring is 8 cm across and the manufacturer gives its height as 2.5 cm.
How it goes into the ceiling
The fitting is held by a pair of spring clips on the sides of the frame: you squeeze them, push the fitting into the cut opening, and on release they spread above the board and pull the ring up to the ceiling. No screws, and nothing visible from below.
The stated 2.5 cm is the height of the frame alone — the free space above the ceiling also has to take the length of the GU10 lamp and room for the terminal block, so the depth of the void is what decides whether it fits. Supply is mains, 230 V, and the cores go into a terminal marked N and L — no transformer or controller is involved.
Lamp and light
The fitting takes one lamp with a GU10 cap, and none is supplied. The manufacturer quotes 50 W as the maximum socket rating; that is a ceiling, not a consumption figure — a current GU10 LED of comparable brightness draws a few watts. Colour, brightness and beam angle are therefore decided by the lamp rather than by the fitting: the ring is open and does not shape the output.
Build
The body is metal with a black finish — from below only the flat ring and the inside of the socket are visible. IP20 limits installation to dry rooms; it is not suitable for bathroom protection zones. The FINN series carries the same model in gold too, under index OB2211CL01-GLD.
