This is a ceiling base – a chromed mounting frame with four lampholders, onto which a shade is hung. It is not a shade and not a complete lamp: on its own it has no covering and is not meant to run bare.
Which shades it takes
The manufacturer designed it for the long textile shades CASUAL 90 and LOPE 80 from its own range. The spacing of the four holders on the 55 × 55 cm frame matches the internal structure of exactly those shades. With a shade from another maker you have to measure its internal fitting – not every large shade will hang on this frame.
Four E27 points, max 15 W each
The frame carries four E27 lampholders, each rated at a maximum of 15 W. That is the limit per source, not the total – but 15 W on an E27 means in practice LED lamps only. Four points under one long shade give even light along its whole length, with no bright middle and dark ends. Bulbs are not included; Rendl recommends its own G13026 source for this base.
Dimming
The assembly works with a dimmer but has no dimming electronics of its own – the result depends on fitting dimmable lamps and using a compatible dimmer. Four ordinary non-dimmable LEDs will either not respond or will flicker.
Build and mounting
Metal construction in a chrome finish, 55 × 55 cm, net weight 1.1 kg. Supply 230 V, wired directly into the ceiling installation – there is no driver or transformer, because the sources run on mains.
