Rendl SHARM R III R14574 recessed light, white and chrome, 3 × 10 W LED 3000 K, 24°, 2700 lm

SHARM R III is a three-head recessed fitting from Rendl, set in a single rounded frame of 33.4 × 11.4 cm. The frame is white and the ring around each of the three spots is chrome. Only 1.5 cm of depth shows on the room side; the rest of the body disappears above the ceiling.

Three openings, not one — check before cutting

Although the fitting looks like a single long module, it installs into three separate round openings of 7.5 cm diameter set in a line, with the shared frame covering them from below. The required recess depth is 9 cm — a real constraint, because the void above a plasterboard ceiling is often shallower, and the body stands 8 cm above the ceiling plane.

24° — an accent fitting, not a general one

This is the decisive property. The beam is only 24°, which is narrow: from 2.7 m each spot lights a circle of roughly 1.1 m, not the room. At 3 × 10 W and 2700 lm total that means three strong, clearly drawn cones of light — a tool for a picture, a shelf, a worktop or a textured wall, not for even living-room light. If you want general lighting, you need a fitting with a 60° spread or wider.

The spots do not move

The manufacturer describes the fitting as "fixed" — the spots neither tilt nor rotate. The direction is set straight down and cannot be corrected after installation, so the spacing of the openings has to be planned precisely above whatever is meant to be lit.

Light source and supply

The LED modules are permanently built in — there are no GU10 sockets and no replaceable lamps — and the driver is integrated, so 230 V goes straight to the box. The light colour is a warm 3000 K at a colour rendering index of Ra 80, and the declared lifetime is 30,000 h.
