Rendl SORANO II R13634 black outdoor wall light, 2×GU10, IP44 Promo CODE - LUN18 until the end of Oct 28

Rendl SORANO II R13634 is a black outdoor wall light with a vertical cylindrical body and a round wall mount. Two GU10 LED lamp positions provide upward and downward lighting. Its plastic housing has an unadorned shape suited to modern and minimalist facades, where the outline of the fitting and the light on the wall can remain distinct.

Choose the light with two GU10 lamps

Each socket accepts a GU10 LED lamp rated at a maximum of 8 W. The lamps are selected separately, so their colour temperature, luminous flux and beam angle determine the resulting light. This is not a fitting with an integrated LED module and a fixed light colour. Choosing matching lamps helps keep the appearance of the light above and below the fitting consistent.

The manufacturer specifies dimming with a suitable light source. If brightness control is required, check that the lamps and dimmer are compatible; a GU10 base alone does not make a lamp dimmable. The fitting operates at 230 V and does not need a separate transformer for low-voltage lamps. Check the operating voltage as well as the base and control requirements when selecting replacements.

Check the space beside the mounting point

The cylinder measures 16.3 cm high and 6 cm in diameter. Overall projection from the wall is 11.2 cm, while the round mounting base is 7.7 cm wide. Compare these measurements with the available wall area and nearby doors, drainpipes or other facade details before installation. Body height and diameter are separate measurements, and projection determines how far the fitting extends into the surrounding space.

Up-and-down lighting outdoors

The IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water; it does not mean dust-tight construction or protection during immersion. Use the light on a wall beside an entrance, terrace or balcony, or on a masonry boundary wall, including hotel and restaurant exteriors. Its two-direction layout primarily lights the wall rather than automatically illuminating an entire property. Installation must be carried out by a qualified installer with the power disconnected.
