RON 60/19 is a textile lampshade shaped as a low drum, 60 cm in diameter and 19 cm tall. Outside it is covered in Monaco fabric in petrol blue; inside it has a silver PVC lining that reflects the bulb's light downwards and sideways instead of absorbing it.
What is included and what to buy separately
The shade has a holder for an E27 lampholder but is not a complete light: it fits onto a RENDL ceiling base or pendant set, both sold separately. The manufacturer names the HEX, ELISA, ENZO, LISA, POSTE and TRIX series as matching accessories. No bulb is included — the shade is rated for an E27 lamp of no more than 23 W at 230 V. A PMMA diffuser made for this shade can also be ordered separately.
Size and installation
At 60 cm across and only 19 cm tall the shade is wide and flat, so it forms a large, even field of colour under the ceiling or above a table — compare its width with the table top or room it will hang over. It weighs 480 g. The manufacturer advises having it installed by a qualified person and handling the shade with care, as it is easily damaged.
