Sandvik 5152 is a box-shaped outdoor wall light, 21 cm high, 8 cm wide and projecting 11 cm, with a body of powder-coated cast aluminium in black (RAL 9005). Light leaves through safety glass at the top and bottom at the same time.
How it lights
Two 8 W LED modules send two 36° beams — one up, one down — so two narrow bands of light form on the wall above and below the fitting. Half of the flux goes upward (ULOR 50%), so the light draws on the façade rather than lighting a driveway broadly. It delivers 1350 lm at 16 W in 4000 K, neutral white with no yellow tint; CRI 80 renders the façade's colours correctly.
Dimming and wiring
The light is phase-dimmable and works with both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) dimmers, so it also suits older installations. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and further lights can be looped through with conductors up to 3 × 1.5 mm² — a row on one wall runs from one line. The supply cable should be round-sheathed, ø7–10.5 mm. Protection class I means an earth conductor is required.
Mounting and service
It fixes with two screws through ø4.5 mm holes spaced 37 × 97.5 mm; for mounting on a building corner the manufacturer offers corner bracket 148, sold separately. IP65 allows outdoor mounting without a canopy, and IK08 stands for impact resistance. The LED modules are replaced by a professional service — the manufacturer stocks the module as a spare part and rates it at an L70 lifetime of over 59,000 h. Light source energy class: E.
