SELMORA LE45641 is a narrow pendant: a black aluminium tube 4 cm across and 22 cm long, hung on a thin cable under a small ceiling rose 6 cm across. The shape is smooth and undecorated — only the tube and the cable are visible.
How low it hangs
The manufacturer states a total drop of 200 cm: 3 cm of rose, 175 cm of cable and 22 cm of tube. Measured from the ceiling, the bottom edge therefore sits two metres lower — a figure to compare with the height of the room and with how far above a worktop or table the fitting should hang.
The tube itself takes up little of the view: 4 cm across is narrower than an ordinary mug, so several of them in a row do not block the space behind. The 6 cm rose covers only the cable outlet, not a standard installation box.
Which bulb to buy
The fitting has one GU10 socket in the MR11 format and takes a lamp of up to 10 W on a 230 V supply. MR11 means a reflector about 35 mm across — an ordinary 50 mm GU10 MR16 lamp will not go into a 4 cm tube, so the format matters at purchase, not only the base.
No bulb is included, so colour temperature and output are yours to choose. The fitting can be dimmed, but that needs a lamp marked as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit.
Build
Tube, rose and holder are aluminium finished in black; the complete fitting weighs 1 kg. The concentrated beam of a spot like this falls in a narrow cone, which is why SELMORA suits a kitchen island or a worktop rather than being the only light source in a room.
