Hudson is a round side table on a slim metal frame in an aged bronze finish. The top is glass, set into a metal rim, and a second tier runs between the legs below it β a mirror panel with a bevelled edge.
How much room it takes
The top measures 50.8 cm across and its upper edge sits 58.4 cm above the floor. Compare that height with the arm of your own sofa or the edge of a mattress β it decides whether you reach down or up for whatever you set on it.
On the floor the table occupies a circle of roughly 51 cm, because the four slim legs splay out almost exactly to the rim of the top. The frame is open: the floor stays visible between the legs and under the lower shelf, so the table does not hide what stands behind it.
Glass top and mirrored shelf
The manufacturer lists three materials: glass, MDF and metal. The upper surface is a glass panel in a metal frame, the lower one a mirror with a bevelled edge, ground at an angle so the border catches light differently from the flat centre. Two tiers give two surfaces to put things on instead of one.
The metal is finished in dark bronze with an uneven, rubbed-back effect visible up close on the rim and the legs. The surface is matt, with no gloss.
Assembly and packaging
Gallery Direct lists this model as requiring full assembly: the table arrives in parts and is bolted together on site. Only once built does it take up the 51 cm of floor described above β in its box it takes far less.
The carton measures 65 x 61.5 x 13 cm and weighs 10.5 kg, while the table itself weighs 9.32 kg. That flat 13 cm depth is the figure to compare with the stairwell or lift the box has to travel through.
