Sigma Gama 5 white — a rhythm of five glass globes

In fitting 33187, a long white bar provides the axis for five spherical shades. Two terminate its ends, one rises above the arm to the left of the vertical stem, and the remaining pair sit below. Their changing positions interrupt strict repetition, while white painted steel and white glass keep the composition within one restrained colour palette.

Model proportions

Gama 5 measures 106 cm across, 68 cm high and 12 cm deep. Every globe is 12 cm in diameter, and the luminaire weighs 1.9 kg. The elongated format can follow a dining table, island or low cabinet, with the bar aligned to the chosen surface. Sigma specifies a fixed rather than adjustable height, so the full 68 cm drop and comfortable clearance need to be considered at the planning stage.

Five separate lamp holders

Each globe contains a G9 holder for a replaceable LED lamp rated up to 12 W. Five bulbs are required in total and are not included. A set with one colour temperature and comparable output will give the white shades a consistent presentation. Because the sources are replaceable, a single point can be serviced without changing the other lamps or the complete luminaire.
