Sigma Gondola M 40643 – silver canopy with a black interior

Model 40643 pairs a cool silver-coloured upper surface with a dark underside. The broad shade is low and gently curved, reading as a smooth horizontal line from across the room. Viewed from below, its black, subtly textured interior frames two visible bulbs. The contrast is well suited to contemporary settings with black profiles, steel, glass or grey stone. When switched on, the two points of light stand out distinctly against the darker background.

Proportioned for a table, island or seating zone

Its 84 cm length can follow the long edge of a rectangular table or kitchen island. Width is 25 cm, shade height is 14 cm and maximum overall height is 90 cm. Two suspension cords support the canopy at separate points and help maintain a level position. The drop is adjustable, while longer cords can be ordered from Sigma for a taller ceiling.

Replaceable bulbs rather than a fixed LED module

Two E27 lampholders take LED bulbs rated at a maximum of 15 W each. Light sources are not included, allowing colour temperature and output to be chosen for the setting. Because the bulbs remain visible from beneath the shade, a matching pair provides the most orderly and symmetrical result.
