SLV NUMINOS GIMBLE L 1005979 is a black and white LED fitting for recessed ceiling installation. Its integrated 25.4 W source produces 2250 lm at a warm 2700 K, while a 40° beam concentrates the output. The movable head directs light towards a selected object or a defined area of the room.

2250 lm, 2700 K and CRI 90

The LED module combines 2250 lm with CRI 90 and a stated service life of 50,000 hours. High colour rendering helps illuminated materials, merchandise or artwork retain a natural appearance. The unified glare rating is no more than 22. The source is built in and may be replaced by a specialist; it is not a conventional user-replaceable bulb.

355° rotation and 60° tilt

The head rotates horizontally through 355° and tilts through 60°. This allows the fitting to work as an adjustable downlight above a display, table or circulation area. A 40° beam is broader than a narrow accent but remains more precise than diffuse general lighting. Final aiming is best completed after the fitting and room contents are in place.

A Ø14.5 cm cut-out for a Ø16 cm body

External diameter is 16 cm, while the height and installation depth are 11.5 cm. The round ceiling cut-out requires a diameter of 14.5 cm. The body is aluminium, with a white decorative ring contrasting against the black fitting. Net weight is 0.6 kg and gross weight is 0.75 kg. Check the dimensional drawing against the actual ceiling construction.

Separate 700 mA driver

The fitting has Class III electrical protection and requires a compatible 700 mA constant-current driver selected separately. The manufacturer lists standard drivers as well as DALI, Casambi and Zigbee solutions among its accessories, so dimming availability and method depend on the chosen control gear. Installation must allow room for the body, a suitable driver and heat dissipation. Connection should be carried out by a qualified installer with the supply isolated, following the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the ceiling system.
