MIRROR XL is a recessed downlight from SpectrumLED (Wojnarowscy Sp. z o.o., Katowice) in a black finish. Catalogue code WLD+20034_ZASILACZ — the _ZASILACZ suffix is not decoration: it means the driver is included in the set.
Two flux figures, and only one describes this fitting
The datasheet gives two values and the gap between them is large:
-
Useful luminous flux: 3000 lm — what the LED module produces on its own;
-
Luminous flux: 1600 lm (360°) — what actually leaves the luminaire.
The difference is the cost of the optics: MIRROR XL has a narrow 30° beam, and a reflector that shapes the beam that tightly holds some light back. The result is 3850 cd of intensity — very high for a fitting of this wattage. That is the point of the design: not to flood a room with light but to throw a strong, focused accent onto a specific object from a considerable height.
In practice: at 30° and 3850 cd the fitting suits retail display, lighting a painting, a shop window, a kitchen island or a reception desk in a high-ceilinged space. For general corridor lighting it would be the wrong choice — you would get a bright circle and darkness around it.
Light quality: CREE, CRI 90, SDCM 5
The manufacturer specifies CREE diodes — a top-tier American maker — and a colour rendering index of RA 90. Ra 90 is the level at which the colours of fabrics, packaging and food are rendered faithfully; below 80 visible distortion begins. In an accent fitting whose job is to show off goods or artwork, that is the key parameter.
Colour consistency SDCM max 5, on the other hand, is a moderate figure. It means that if you buy several units for one row, noticeable differences in the shade of white between units are possible — order them together, from one batch, rather than adding single pieces months later.
TCI driver included, and class II
The fitting runs at 135 mA and needs a driver, which is included — made by TCI, an Italian company specialising in LED drivers. That matters, because in this product class the driver is often sold separately, and its quality determines flicker and the real service life of the whole assembly.
Protection class II means double insulation — no earth conductor is required. A power factor of 0.9 is a good figure; with many fittings on one circuit it limits the reactive load.
Installation
The fitting is recessed. External dimensions are 220 x 70 mm and the cut-out is 200 mm — a large hole that has to be planned before the ceiling is closed. The 70 mm depth needs matching space above a suspended ceiling, which must also accommodate the driver.
IK 6 is medium impact resistance (1 J), IP20 restricts use to dry interiors, and the operating range of −20 to +40 °C is wide for an indoor fitting.

Things to bear in mind
The fitting is not dimmable — the manufacturer states so plainly. If the design calls for brightness control, a different model is needed; adding a dimmer to this set will not work and may damage the driver.
The light source is permanently integrated and cannot be replaced — after 50,000 h the whole fitting is replaced. At 25,000 switching cycles it is also not a fitting for a heavily used motion-sensor circuit. The 5-year warranty, on the other hand, is clearly above the market standard.
