The Stockholm 220GA is an outdoor wall light with a milky, half-round diffuser set inside a steel cage of horizontal rings and vertical bars. The steel is hot-dip galvanised, meaning it is coated with zinc rather than paint, which leaves the raw silver-grey colour of the metal. The fitting takes one E27 bulb.
Size and wall mounting
The light is 21 cm wide and 23.5 cm high and weighs 2.5 kg — a size to compare with the free space beside a door or window; the fitting is compact and does not dominate the facade. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 80 × 80 mm.
The terminals take cables up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next fitting, so several wall lights on one wall can run from a single cable. The cable gland is designed for a round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. It is a protection class I luminaire, so it must be connected to the protective earth conductor.
What light it gives
The bulb is not included. The fitting takes an E27 bulb of the A55–A60 shape, LED up to 9 W, so you choose the colour and brightness together with the bulb — by an entrance, warm white of 2700–3000 K is the usual choice. The milky polycarbonate diffuses the light, so the bright point of the bulb is not visible from the side. Changing the bulb does not require an electrician.
Build and where to mount it
IP54 means protection against dust and against water splashed from any direction, so the light can hang on an uncovered wall, and the manufacturer specifies operation from -20 to +45 °C. IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class, which matters when the fitting hangs low, within arm's reach. The diffuser is UV-stabilised and sealed with a silicone gasket; both the diffuser and the gasket are available as spare parts.
The plain, Scandinavian-style form suits a house facade, a balcony and the garden, as well as the walls of hotels and restaurants.
