Stucchi Track Adapter Black with LED Driver Housing 9619-M/B

The 9619-M/B is an adapter that clicks into a Stucchi low-voltage track and carries a single spotlight. The body is black polyamide, 160.7 mm long and 12.5 mm thick, with a 7 mm hole at the halfway point.

How it goes in and what it holds

The manufacturer gives the mounting as insert-with-click: the adapter is pushed into the track profile without tools, and manual safety locks hold it there mechanically. The locks are released by hand, so the adapter can be taken out and moved to another point on the track.

The permitted load is 10 N, which is what a mass of about 1 kg weighs — compare that figure with the weight of the fitting you intend to hang on it. The adapter itself weighs 31.7 g.

The LED driver compartment

The inside of the adapter is sized for an LED driver of no more than 113.6 × 8 mm, the maximum envelope given on the manufacturer's technical drawing. No driver is supplied, so measure the one you plan to use first: a longer or thicker module will not go in. Because of this compartment the driver need not sit inside the fitting or above the ceiling.

Electrical ratings and what is bought separately

The manufacturer rates the adapter at 2 A on 60 V DC and 1 A on 60 V DC. The same adapter is catalogued under both the MICRO and the CORE11 systems; the MICRO system's supply box converts 230 V AC to 48 V DC to SELV, so the adapter runs below its rated voltage. This part is not intended for a 230 V installation.

The adapter comes on its own — track, fitting and driver are separate purchases. The manufacturer also offers the S-9619-M/M6 connector and the S-9619/41, S-9619/42 and S-9619-D/42 contacts. The white version of the same adapter is coded 9619-M/W.
