This is not a luminaire but a system component: a swivel connector for the Nordlux Link track. It joins two lengths of track both electrically and mechanically, and its job is changing direction — without it the track can only run straight.
A bend at any angle
The manufacturer quotes a turning angle of 100° and an adjustment range of up to 200°. In practice that means the installation does not have to be planned around a fixed angle: the connector is set on site to suit the actual shape of the room. That freedom matters most in rooms that are not rectangular, in alcoves and against sloping walls, where a rigid 90° connector simply will not fit.
The Link system
The part belongs to the 1-phase Nordlux Link system and fits only that system's rails — track systems from different manufacturers are compatible neither mechanically nor in their contacts. The construction is protection class I, with an earth contact, at 230 V. IP20 places it in dry interiors.

The connector is 12 cm long, 3.5 cm wide and 1.8 cm high, and weighs 75 grams. The body is plastic with metal elements, in black — the same black the Link rails come in, so the joint does not stand out along the run.
