Telescopic corner shower shelf - BCB001B01

The BCB001B01 is a corner shower shelf on a telescopic pole that braces between the floor and the ceiling. Four black trays with perforated bases and side rails sit on the single pole, and three hooks hang under the lowest one. The frame is powder-coated steel and the trays are PP plastic.

Where it fits and how it goes up

The pole extends from 85 to 305 cm, so the only measurement needed before buying is the floor-to-ceiling distance in the bathroom — that range covers both a low ceiling over a bath and an ordinary 2.5 m room. Nothing is drilled into the tiles: the pole is braced between floor and ceiling.

The whole unit takes up 35 × 25 cm of floor area, which is the corner of a shower enclosure or the space beside a bath that usually goes unused. Each of the four trays is set at its own height on the pole, so the spacing follows the bottles actually kept at home.

How much it will hold

The manufacturer states 2 kg of static load per tray and 8 kg for the whole unit. That is a limit for shampoo, shower gel and cosmetics rather than a bucket of water — a figure worth comparing against the weight of full large bottles.

The side rails mount two ways round: turned up they act as a guard and stop a bottle sliding off the tray, turned down they give extra hanging space. The three hooks under the bottom tray take washcloths and sponges.

Water and upkeep

The tray bases have drainage holes, so no puddle stands on them after a shower and wet packaging dries off instead of leaving a ring. The steel is powder-coated and the trays are PP plastic — a material pairing intended for a wet room.
