TETRIS 14114-18 is a ceiling light built from four metal cubes set on a square mounting plate at two different levels — which is where the series name comes from. Everything is finished in matt black, and the light leaves the fitting only downwards, through opal diffusers in the base of each cube.
How much ceiling it takes up
The mounting plate measures 30 × 30 cm and the whole fitting projects 25 cm below the ceiling. That is the figure to compare with your own room height: under a standard ceiling 25 cm stays out of the way, but in a low room the block is clearly present.
The plate itself is 4 cm deep and screws straight to the ceiling — nothing hangs on a cable or a cord. The fitting weighs 3.1 kg, so the fixing has to reach the structural ceiling or the supporting frame of a suspended one, not just the board.
How much light it gives and of what kind
The light source is built in permanently: the LED modules are part of the fitting, so there are no bulbs to buy and nothing to swap the way you would in a socketed luminaire. The fitting draws 19 W.
The manufacturer publishes two figures and they are worth telling apart. The LED modules themselves are rated 2400 lm, while the measured output of the complete fitting is 650 lm — the diffusers and the closed cube housings hold back the rest. 650 lm is slightly less than an old 60 W bulb, so TETRIS lights a hallway, a corridor or a staircase, and in a larger room it works as supplementary light.
The colour temperature of 3000 K is warm white, noticeably warmer than daylight. The four cubes send the light straight down in four separate pools rather than spreading it sideways across the walls.
Build and where it may be installed
The body is metal in a uniform matt black; the only pale elements are the opal diffusers visible from below. The manufacturer classifies the fitting as an indoor luminaire and specifies a 230 V supply — it is not intended for outdoor use or for places exposed to splashing.
TETRIS is a class II fitting, which means no earth conductor is needed — a live and a neutral are enough, and that matters in older installations without earthing.
