The Teak Root Tray - Natural - M

Bazar Bizar’s Teak Root M is a round tray made from solid teak in a natural finish. Two elongated openings form handles cut directly through the wood, leaving the visible grain as its main decorative feature. The manufacturer also describes it as a cutting board, but limits food contact to dry foods only.

Choosing the M size

The tray measures 35 × 35 cm and stands 4.5 cm high. Compare that footprint with the clear space on your counter or dining table before ordering. Both handle openings sit inside the circular outline, so the whole footprint is not an uninterrupted surface for arranging food. This is the M version, article JACA021N-M-35, rather than the larger or smaller trays shown in the stacked group photograph.

Its serving function supports use in the kitchen and dining room. It is not a dish for heating food: the manufacturer rules out both oven and microwave use. Follow the dry-food restriction regardless of the decorative arrangements shown in the product photographs.

Natural variation and wood care

The tray is handmade in Indonesia. Colour, grain pattern and small irregularities can differ between individual pieces. The organic wood pattern and simple rounded shape suit rustic and boho combinations; they do not promise an identical appearance from one tray to the next.

Remove dust with a soft cloth or brush. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with mild soap, then dry the wood thoroughly. Do not soak the tray or leave moisture on its surface for extended periods. It is not dishwasher-safe. The manufacturer recommends regular oiling or a protective wood treatment to retain the original colour.
