ONDA TR007-1-18W3K-W4K is a track spotlight: a white aluminium cylinder 12 cm across with a flat opal cover on the face, carried on a track adapter. The whole fitting stands 11.1 cm tall, of which 2.9 cm is the adapter and 8.2 cm the body.
Which track it fits
The adapter is made for the single-phase 230 V track of the UNITY system. A single-phase adapter fits neither mechanically nor electrically into a three-phase track or a low-voltage magnetic track, so it is worth confirming which system is already on the ceiling before ordering.
The fitting is built to protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor. It weighs 0.65 kg, or 0.74 kg packed.
How much light it gives, and of what kind
The light comes from 36 permanently built-in LEDs — they cannot be replaced, and the maker states a service life of 50,000 hours. The fitting draws 18 W and delivers 1500 lm, roughly as much as two old 60 W bulbs.
The light is 4000 K, a neutral white with neither a yellow nor a blue cast, at a colour rendering index of Ra 80. The beam angle is 120°, so despite the name this is not a fitting for picking out a single object: it spreads light widely and lights part of a room. Dimming is not provided for, and the manufacturer declares energy efficiency class G.
How it is aimed
The head turns through 355° horizontally and tilts through 90° against its base, so the direction of light is set after installation and can be changed later without taking the fitting off the track.
With a wide beam and 1500 lm, one fitting lights a defined area rather than a single object. ONDA is intended for living spaces — living room, bedroom and dining room — and for hotels, restaurants and shops.
