V-TAC VT-7617 compact garden bollard

The V-TAC VT-7617 is a black cylindrical garden bollard measuring 50 cm high. Its narrow 8 × 8 cm footprint creates a defined point of light without overwhelming planting, paving or a terrace edge. The housing is aluminium and the opal diffuser is made from PC plastic. A GU10 lampholder lets you choose a compatible bulb for the light colour and output that suit the installation.

This outdoor fitting operates on 220–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Its IP54 rating confirms its outdoor application. It is not an integrated-LED fitting: the GU10 bulb is selected separately. That choice is useful when a project needs a particular ambience or a different brightness at separate points around the property.

Suitable placement

• beside a garden path approaching the entrance,
• next to a terrace or outdoor seating area,
• along a driveway or boundary fence.

The matt-black finish and simple upright silhouette suit contemporary exterior schemes and combine naturally with timber, concrete and metal details. Plan for a safe mains connection and choose the GU10 bulb according to the required amount of light. VT-7617 is a freestanding outdoor garden fitting, rather than a complete package with a specified bulb included.
