V-TAC SKU 11162 black cable ties measure 2.5 mm wide and 150 mm long. Each pack contains 100 ties made from Nylon 66. The toothed strip passes through the head to form a loop for bundling cables or small components.
What the size and pack quantity mean
The 150 mm measurement is the full strip length, not the diameter of a closed loop. Some of that length passes through the head, so compare the tie size with the circumference of the bundle you need to secure. The 2.5 mm figure is the strip width, not its thickness. This offer is for 100 black ties, rather than a single tie or the separate master-carton quantity listed in the distributor's documentation.
The manufacturer's label states “Min Hold: 8 kg”. This is the stated minimum holding-strength parameter, not the weight of a tie or a declared lifting capacity. Keep that distinction in mind when choosing a cable-management accessory rather than equipment intended to carry a suspended load.
Installation and operating temperatures differ
The documentation specifies an operating range of -40 to +85 °C and a minimum installation temperature of -20 °C. The lower operating limit is therefore not also a permitted temperature for tightening the tie. Nylon 66 in this product has a declared UL94 V-2 material flammability rating. That classification is not a promise that the material cannot burn. Black colour alone does not establish UV resistance.
