V-TAC VT-24030 is a constant-current driver with DALI control, intended for LED panels. The current product card associates it with 29 W panels, while the device label and manufacturer catalogue specify a maximum output power of 30 W. This distinction matters when selecting a system: 30 W is the driver’s output limit, not the energy consumption of every panel connected to it.
Matching the output to an LED panel
Two switches on the housing select one of four constant-current profiles. At 600 mA the output range is 12–50 V DC, at 700 mA it is 5–42 V DC, at 900 mA it is 3–31 V DC, and at 1050 mA it is 3–28 V DC. The label also gives 55 V as the maximum output voltage. Both the panel’s required current and its voltage range therefore need to match one complete pair in this table; panel wattage alone is not enough to establish compatibility.
The output terminals are marked LED+ and LED-. This driver does not define luminous flux, colour temperature or beam angle: those properties belong to the connected panel and depend on the chosen luminaire.
Mains input and DALI control
The input operates at 200–240 V AC and 50/60 Hz. Maximum input current is 0.2 A at 230 V, and the power factor is above 0.9. Separate L and N terminals accept the mains supply, while DA1 and DA2 connect to the DALI bus. The driver supports digital dimming control, but the panel must still match the selected output profile and the installation needs a compatible DALI control system.
Dimensions and operating conditions
The plastic enclosure measures 150 mm long, 40 mm wide and 30 mm high, and the product weighs 0.16 kg. These are the driver dimensions; the 155×45×35 mm figures in the current card are explicitly packaging dimensions. The manufacturer specifies normal operation from -20°C to +45°C. The label identifies a SELV output and Class II construction. CE, EMC and RoHS certifications and a two-year warranty complete the documented specification.
